Hello ♡

I’m Neha Rao and I’m a senior at Northview! This is my second year in Lit Mag and I’m so excited to spend time with new friends and grow as a staff member. I joined Lit Mag because of my love of design and digital art which has really allowed me to unwind creatively and I hope it will trickle down into my writing so it could become a better fit for me as well. A career in art direction is a dream of mine and hopefully, I’ll be able to move to Chicago in the future after graduating from school here. I’m sad Lit Mag is coming to an end for me, but being a staff member is a truly rewarding experience and if anyone is on the fence on whether or not they should join, this is a SIGN.

Outside of Lit Mag, I love photography and reading (I’m really into classics right now like pride and prejudice) or even just listening to music. My Spotify is my baby and I don’t know who I’d be without it and it’s key when hanging out with friends or even just studying (specifically my clair de tunes playlist). I love trying new foods/ cuisine (my favorite is Thai) so I tend to have pretty good restaurant recs in my personal opinion so let me know if you need any! Fun fact I’ve watched The Office 16 times (it would be more if it didn’t leave Netflix) and I also know the entire rap to Super Bass by Niki Minaj which is really fitting. Winter is my second favorite season but mostly because I thought reindeer were mythical creatures and it freaked me out so bad at the age of 15 that they were real, I switched to fall.
